The design process is very straightforward when it comes to approving or adjusting elements. Also having access to designer discounts is a huge plus, saving us money on higher quality furniture and flooring. Looking back it was a no-brainer to hire Carleen to create the perfect design, coordinate the renovation, then source and purchase furnishings, and finally stage our place for professional photos. Highly recommend and would work with again!

WOW! Carleen far exceeded my expectations in designing and setting up my latest short term rental. The entire experience working with The Model Home team has been exceptional - from initial design to final install - everything has been seamless. First and foremost, Carleen's designs are fantastic. She's got an incredible eye and worked with me to create a unique and elevated, yet still cozy atmosphere. Her design review platform was so easy to use and made it quick and easy to explore and approve designs and individual pieces. The install process was also super smooth (in fact I was out of town for most of it) but they handled every detail from painting and accent walls to hanging TVs and minor repair work. Seeing the finished product absolutely blew me away - all the thoughtful details and finishing touches were just amazing. To top it all off - we came in significantly under budget!
This wasn't the first Airbnb design and setup I've gone through - but this experience was a million times better! I will absolutely use Caleen & The Model Home for all future properties. 100/10!

I had the pleasure of working with Carleen to design and furnish a new investment property. She was fantastic to work with and executed flawlessly on her vision. She made the process incredibly easy and she was in communication with us on a daily basis. This was my first time working with a professional designer and I know a lot of people out there may be hesitant to use a service like this. You may be thinking "oh, I can do that on my own" or "I am pretty good at design" - You're not. Don't do it. Use Carleen and skip the hassle, you won't regret it.

Carleen/The Model Home was an amazing asset to our team and space. We hired her for a commercial job which included selecting and procuring a variety of interior workplace + lounge seating and accessories. We could not be more pleased with the result. It was very much on brand and on budget. Our project faced some timing interruptions, and Carleen was able to dodge every curveball and accommodate us in her schedule. She was incredibly detail oriented and responsive, providing us multiple “Mood Board” options to incorporate the tastes of our entire team. I very much look forward to working with Carleen again.
